Short Review: Music speaks for itself, but when it comes to Scarlet Sins, it shouts in your face ... A very strong statement by a newbie band. Its easy to come up with such a statement but very hard to prove with music.
I was reluctant even listen to the CD I was supposed to write a review on. All I had to do was slide in the CD into my car stereo system, which is powerful enough to blow the windscreen off ... I got blown away instead.
Kick in your face, box in your gutts, thunderous, deafening, ear splitting kickass .... Its a power house packed in one compact disk.
You can feel raw energy, anger, emotions and exceptional musical talent in the songs. Its very difficult to choose which song is better and which is not. Every single song is full on. No doubt its a feast of heavier than heavy guitar riffs, dark melodic solos, thunderous drums, intelligent and emotion packed lyrics and unique powerful vocals.
Scarlet sins have produced something which was missing from the metal scene since early ninties. You can not chalk it up to dumb luck, no fluke it’s definitely a case of fate playing fair.
Highly recomended for your metal collection. You wont be disappointed. Its playing in my car and ipod since I first listened to this CD.
